Meet the Founder
My name is Vickie Davis, and LMB HOUSE is more than just a business to me—it’s a calling, rooted in legacy, love, and faith. From a young age, I was surrounded by the quiet strength of my mother, Lola Mae Bowman, a woman whose heart and home were open to everyone. Her kindness wasn’t loud, but it was felt by all who crossed her threshold. She didn’t just serve meals—she nourished souls. She didn’t just open her door—she opened her heart. Watching her care for others, effortlessly and selflessly, I learned what true service looked like.
For years, that example stayed with me, tucked deep in my spirit. As life moved on, I found myself drawn—again and again—to helping others. My daughter, Chasity Royall, who works as a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, became another source of inspiration for me. Watching her care for her patients with such compassion and strength sparked something in me. She reminded me of my mother’s light—and she helped me believe in my own.
Starting LMB HOUSE wasn’t easy. I had doubts. I worried about resources, about what it would take to bring this vision to life. But I knew in my heart that this home—this safe place—wasn’t just an idea. It was a promise to the people we serve. A promise to families who need peace of mind. A promise to my daughter, to continue the work of caregiving with love and intention. And most of all, a promise to my mother, Lola Mae Bowman, whose name and spirit live on in everything we do.
Today, LMB HOUSE is built on that legacy—a place where adults with disabilities are not just cared for, but cherished. Where they are seen, supported, and surrounded by the same warmth that once filled my childhood home. I walk in this purpose every day, knowing that we are creating something meaningful. Something real. Something lasting.
Chasity Royall, CNA, is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience providing direct care and support to adults in both residential and clinical settings. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, she brings extensive hands-on knowledge in activities of daily living support, resident safety, dignity-centered care, and structured supervision that promotes independence while ensuring a supportive environment.
Ms. Royall pursued a career as a CNA out of a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly and vulnerable individuals. She believes every person deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and the same level of care one would provide to family. This philosophy continues to guide her approach to caregiving and leadership.
At LMB HOUSE, Ms. Royall plays a vital role in operational readiness and service delivery, contributing her practical expertise to help ensure that the home operates in alignment with Texas state standards and recognized best practices for adult residential care. Her experience supports the development of safe routines, structured daily living environments, and resident- centered support systems designed to promote autonomy and quality of life.
As the granddaughter of Lola Mae Bowman — whose legacy of compassion, hospitality, and service inspired the founding of LMB HOUSE — Ms. Royall is deeply committed to preserving that tradition by helping create a warm, structured, and respectful home where residents are empowered to live with dignity, independence, and connection.

More Than a Residence — A Legacy of Care
Lola Mae Bowman was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother whose life was rooted in unwavering faith, compassion, and service to others. A respected Detention officer and trusted presence within her community, she was known for carrying herself with strength, integrity, and genuine care for every individual she encountered. Whether in her professional role or in her personal life, Lola Mae believed deeply in treating people with dignity, respect, and understanding.
Beyond her career, she was the heart of her family and a source of comfort for many. Lola Mae had a natural gift for hospitality — opening her home to those in need, preparing meals for others, offering a listening ear without judgment, and providing guidance rooted in wisdom and kindness. Her home was not simply a place to live; it was a place where people felt safe, valued, and welcomed. She created an environment where love and support were freely given, and where individuals could find peace during challenging times.
Her passing revealed the profound impact she had on countless lives, as an overwhelming outpouring of love and support came from family, friends, colleagues, and community members whose lives had been touched by her generosity and spirit. Her legacy continues to inspire those who knew her and serves as the foundation for the vision behind LMB HOUSE.
Founded in her honor, LMB HOUSE reflects the values Lola Mae Bowman lived every day — faith, hospitality, compassion, and a deep commitment to caring for others. The home is designed to embody her belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported in a warm and inviting environment where independence and dignity are nurtured.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:1
Why We Lovingly Refer To Our Residents as “Lola’s Angels”
At LMB HOUSE, our residents are lovingly referred to as “Lola’s Angels” in honor of my mother, Lola Mae Bowman, whose life was defined by compassion, protection, and unconditional love. She created a home where people felt safe, welcomed, and deeply cared for a legacy that continues to inspire the heart and mission of LMB HOUSE.
The name symbolizes our commitment to creating an environment rooted in dignity, safety, and community. Just as my mother opened her home and heart to others, we strive to provide a space where every resident feels supported, respected, and truly at home. “Lola’s Angels” reflects both the legacy that inspired this vision and the belief that each individual deserves kindness, belonging, and the opportunity to thrive.
